August Break Week Three
Week three already! Wow, that's gone fast! Only a few more weeks of The August Break to go now. Are any of you doing the challenge as well?
Day 13
Last Year
Last year was a tough one with a lot of changes going on at work. I managed to survive it though and have come out the other side of it stronger and more capable. These photos are from my private Instagram account.
Day 14
I Love
There's so much I could write here; Nutella, hugs, certain people in my life, early mornings when the house and world are all quiet... But, seen as the British summer seems to be back, I decided on watching and listening to the rain, as well as the smell after it's rained in summer.
Day 15
Cat
This gorgeous cat lives a few doors down from me and I've never seen them sit here before, its as if they knew I needed a photo of a cat :)
Day 16
Longing
This was a tough prompt for me. I really struggled to find a photo for the prompt and also decide what to write about it. I'm longing for so much I think that I'm confused where to start. Overall, I'm longing to feel like I belong somewhere.
Day 17
Is a struggle. It's raw, shitty, awesome, love, laughter, tears and everything in between. Again, another prompt where I was struggling to find an image. And then on the walk to work the other morning, it started to rain. I remembered to put my overtrousers on before I left the house to keep my crops dry, but forgot to change my trainers. That led me to need to dry my wet trainers with the hairdryer at work.
Day 18
Younger Me
I always remember wearing this hat as a child and there are numerous photos of me wearing it. I still have a thing about hats and I'm sure I have over a dozen beanies. Some I've bought and others were free gifts from reps at work. A perk of working for an outdoor clothing and equipment retailer!
Day 19
Makes Me Laugh
Seeing things that you make me smile. Traffic cones in places like this as well as shopping trolleys in unexpected places, always remind me of Toy Story 2 where Buzz is leading the escape plan for Woody who's been toy-napped by Al of Al's Toy Barn.
