August Break Week Two

Day 6

Spacious

This is a photo I took of Blencathra in The Lake District.  I'd had to go to Keswick for work earlier this year, (I have a hard job I know ;) ) And I took this while a colleague was driving.

Day 7

Five Facts About Me

1 I have worked for the same company for the last eleven years and had three job titles during that time.

2 My favourite TV shows include; Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, NCIS and Game of Thrones.

3 I ideally need between 71/2and 8 hours of sleep.

4 I am a proud Gryffindor.  (Pottermore sorted me into Gryffindor twice.)

5 I don't like harsh overhead lighting, I prefer lamps and fairy lights <3

Day 8

Sky

We've been having some amazing cloud formations in between heatwaves over here in the UK.  I've discovered while looking through my phone's camera roll, that I take a lot of photos of the sky.  It's constantly changing colours and moods are stunning to watch.  Today we had dull dark grey clouds instead of the blue sky with fluffy white clouds pictured here from a few days ago.

Day 9

Happiness is

Spending time in quiet reflection and coming to amazing realisations while journaling.  Planning.  Seeing things that make me smile, like this heart shape tea drip.  Hearing from friends. Seeing my friends and family.  Planning a holiday.  Far too many things to mention...  That could be a whole blog post in its self :)

Day 10

Pink

Makes me always think of my favourite singer P!nk, who I was lucky enough to see live on her first UK Arena tour; The Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour. She played close to where I live so along with a friend of mine, we went to see her.  She's AMAZING. I did get tickets to see her on her next UK tour, 'The Truth About Love Tour' but just as my friend and I were leaving to head to Birmingham (as Manchester had sold out), I got a notification that P!nk had had to cancel that night's show on doctors orders.  Gutted.  So we had a night in at my house instead of watching the DVD's I have of her live shows.

12 Raw

Occasionally while preparing a salad pepper, I find another pepper or two growing inside.  Is this a lucky thing I wonder?
